In every Starter Set and every booster pack of the MapleStory iTCG you will find at least one code card that can be redeemed in the MapleStory online game Cash Shop for a virtual item, quest or pet! Visit the Cash Shop to find out what your code will be redeemed for -- you never know what you’ll get. It could be access to a brand-new quest, high-level weapon, or a rare pet!

To redeem your Special Code, begin by launching the MapleStory game client and logging in to the game. (Make sure you have open slots in your inventory tabs because you never know what you might get from your code!)

1. Once you’re in the game, click the “Cash Shop” icon in the lower righthand corner of the game screen.

2. In the Cash Shop, click the round “Code” button in the lower righthand corner of the game screen. This will pop up a window where you can enter the Special Code.

3. Enter the Special Code (without hyphens) into the text field and click OK.

4. Your new item will be placed in your inventory!

Code FAQ

Q: What do I get when I enter my code? Will it be related to the card it came from? For example, if I enter a code from a Red Snail card, could I get a Red Snail pet?

A: The stuff you get from the codes isn’t linked to the card it came from. It’s pretty much random.

Q: Can I use a code more than once?

A: No. Once you’ve successfully entered a code, it can’t be used again.

Q: According to the code section in the Rules, a “virtual card” should appear in my inventory after I enter the code. That’s not happening. Instead I’m just getting stuff right away. Why is that?

A: Things have changed since we printed the Rules! Originally, our plan was for you to get a virtual card from your code. Once you had the virtual card, you’d give to an NPC in the online game to get your stuff. Since then we’ve improved the way the codes work. Now you just get your item, pet, or quest right away!

Q: Can the codes be used for either Global or European MapleStory?
