Nearra
Nearra is a girl in her mid-teens. (She doesn't remember her exact age). She is slim, blonde, and pretty, but not stunningly attractive. She wears a simple dress -- the kind that any peasant girl from any village in Solamnia might wear.

At the beginning of the series, she has no clear memories relating to her identity, except her name. She isn't, however, a blank slate. She does remember many things: language, skills, customs, and basic geography. In addition, she occasionally has flashes of strange memories and arcane knowledge that feel at once alien and familiar to her. She has a sense of a strange power lurking within her, and yet she doesn't understand where it comes from or how she can harness it.

Nearra is a kind and friendly person. She reaches out to Davyn and the other companions, and they all become close. She is strong-willed and doesn't sit by the sidelines while her friends try to protect her.
