Davyn
Davyn is a fifteen-year-old boy with many secrets. He is of medium height, with sandy-brown hair, and he is more handsome than he gives himself credit for. A ranger by trade, he met Nearra when he was traveling with the wizard Maddoc, guiding him through a forest path in the center of Solamnia. The wizard and the ranger rescued Nearra from the green dragon Slean. Later, Davyn offered to accompany Nearra on her journey to discover her true identity.

Davyn is a lonely character who never had any real friends of his own. As he grows closer to the group (especially Nearra), and experiences the terror haunting the girl, Davyn struggles with revealing the secret he harbors -- the secret that just might save his friend.
