Introducing an all-new series based upon the New York Times best-selling A Practical Guide to Dragons! Dear Master Henham, I was so very glad that your letter reached me! I was surprised to hear that my Practical Guide to Dragons book managed to make it all the way to the Great Library of Palanthas (last I saw it, Mother had nailed it to a wall), but I’m happy that my writings and drawings fell into the hands of a scholar like yourself. You told me in your letter that you were interested in hearing more stories about the lives of dragons and the people who’ve met them. All of my adventures with dragons have been well talked about, of course, but I have an interesting story for you about an old friend of mine named Mudd. It’s a thrilling tale all about a vicious red dragon, a vision of a powerful pendant, a boy who’s not really a boy, and a kender who’s not really a kender (though Paladine knows why anyone lucky enough to be a kender would then claim not to be one). There’s lots more to the tale, of course. I’ve attached all of my notes for you to read. I’ll make sure to send any more stories I stumble upon during my travels. I know you’ll be dying to hear all about the other dragons of Krynn—though I hope not dying for real, since I haven’t learned how to send letters to anyone in the Gray as of yet. All my best, Sindri Suncatcher The former greatest Kender wizard in all the world (Soon to be the former former greatest Kender wizard in all the world, if my journeys go as planned!)
