Madness
What some call mad, others call imagination. Where some see folly, others see whimsy. When doctrine takes too firm a hold, free-thinkers and visionaries are called crazy at best, and insane at worst. But without that divine Madness that is creativity, civilization's zenith would yet hunker in caves drawing stick figures by firelight.

True, some walk the line somewhat closer than health can withstand, but these are the prophets, the paradigm-changers, who forge ahead through dangerous lands. And though they may falter and fall, others in their wake benefit from the sacrifice. Those following need not surrender their wills to the myriad voices who constantly sing glorious hosannas just beyond reason's pale . . .

Valor
I wish the bugs in my hair would comb it. Where am I again?

Valor sometimes dallies with creative strategies. Sometimes is a strong word; rarely says it better. And calling the valorous creative gives creativity a bad name.

Let's begin again: Valor's offenses usually fall far short of what true genius could have accomplished given the same tools, while a defense mounted by the valorous makes it all too clear what dull, indoctrinated clods they truly are. But for all their intellectual paucity, the valorous aren't bad blokes to have at your back in a pickle. Anyone hungry?

Fear
Screams of mad inspiration, or screams of Fear? Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. And really, is it truly important to separate one from the other? Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you, or so the shadows whisper, and so those of Fear shout at passing strangers -- or perhaps it is those of Madness who shout at passing strangers.
